The textExtend tool is used inside the Flash MX 2004/Flash 8 authoring environment to expand the text editing capabilites on static textfields. This tool, which is added as a Flash panel, can be used to change the letter casing of words or sentences, insert special characters simply by clicking on them, create bulleted or numbered lists and change the indentation or line spacing.
